You’re invited to a free retreat! One for Pastor’s spouses, and one for pastors.
Last year I spent 5 days with church planters at Western Pleasure Ranch, and it was an amazingly refreshing week both personally & spiritually. I would encourage anyone who is in need of renewal to take advantage of this amazing retreat! The only cost to you is travel to the destination. All the details are below. Please contact Tony Nelson if you would like to attend. This is on a first come basis.

Is this really for free?
Yes. All we expect you to pay for is your travel expenses and a fishing license. People who love pastors and church leaders have willingly donated to make this happen.
Why are you doing this?
To end leadership burnout by means of leadership refreshment. We offer renewal, revitalization and recalibration for leaders of churches.
Who’s the guest speaker?
Jesus. There are no books to read, no homework and no classes; just time in a beautiful setting with others from a similar background and Jesus. We believe that He has something to say to you if you’ll quiet yourself long enough to listen.
How do I get there?
You can catch a plane to Spokane International Airport (GEG). Where we’ll gladly pick you up. But you must arrive BEFORE 12:00 pm on the day your event begins and book your return flight AFTER 12:00 pm on the last day.
What if I’m driving?
You may drive on your own to the ranch, but please plan to arrive no later than 4:00 pm on the opening day. You can find a map to the ranch at: http://westernpleasureranch.com/location-directions/
What is there to do?
Being a guest ranch there will be more things to do than we have time to do them. But the following is a short list of possibilities:
- Horseback riding
- Shooting (yes, guns!)
- Fly Fishing
- Lounging and staring at the beautiful scenery
- Nightly campfires

On May 18, 2017 we had an amazing Summit with over 60 church leaders from around Utah and Wyoming. What I love most about the Summits is that people from many denominational backgrounds can find common ground, and learn from each other because of a common mission we are all on — to share the good news of Jesus love, grace and truth with the people in our communities. Thank you to Mike & Emile at Southeast Christian Church in Murray for being amazing hosts, as well as to Brian Dwyer, Matthew Anderson and the Loving Utah leadership team for all your efforts.

Loving Utah October Summit Thursday Oct 13 8am-2pm The Well Church in Sandy 800 E 9400 S, Sandy, UT 84094.
We can’t wait to be with you in October! First off, we want to give you a chance to pick the topics for upcoming summits. Take 2-3 minutes to fill out the registration, which gives you the opportunity to give us your input. Loving Utah is cranking up the heat! We’ll share a grander vision for what we could all accomplish together and discover how we can serve you and new church planters better.
Our team has been asking the question: WHAT IF Loving Utah transformed from a church-planting network to a MULTIPLYING MOVEMENT?
WHAT WOULD HAPPEN . . .
IF planters had opportunities to build stronger relationships with each other?
IF we joined forces to grow healthy churches?
IF we collaborated more than ever before?
IF we partnered with a residency program that equips planters here in Utah?
IF we created a cultural curriculum, training and experiences that educates planters to overcome and thrive within the Utah culture?
IF together we sought God to do more than we could ask or imagine?
Do you want to be equipped to be more effective in your ministry? If you are a church volunteer, staff member or leader, EQUIP 2016 is for you. Loving Utah, Converge Rocky Mountain, K2 the Church & Alpine Church have teamed up to create an event that will inspire you for more effective ministry!
August 20 9am-noon
Cost: FREE. (If you want to chip in to help out, bring $5.)
At last month’s Church Planter’s Summit, Dr. Brent Slife’s gave a penetrating analysis of how the secular world view of America opposes the biblical world view at three key points. Response to this message have been very favorable. As a result, we asked Dr. Slife for permission to post the transcript of his presentation, which he has granted. If you want to review the message or share it with others, you can find it here: Opposing Worldviews.
